What type of cat should you get?

There are many different breeds of cats, all unique, non better than another. It's all about personal preference, and if you're buying one, the cost. A single cat can range from £25 all the way to £850, excluding initial set up costs and monthly food costs.

How many?

One of the biggest questions is how many cats should you own. First of all, there are a few factors to this. If you have long working hours and your cat will be alone throughout the day, maybe a second cat is ideal to stop cat number one for becoming lonely. There is never a limit on how many cats you can own, it is whatever works in your life. Sometimes, getting two cats from the same litter is a good idea as they should bond together significantly. Personally, we have two sisters from the same litter and one girl from a different litter. Gender wise, I would advise having only girls or only boys, unless you're willing to get your boy the snip snip on your girl neutered.
